INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)
The department of Information Technology was established in the year 2001 with an intake of 60 students. Department aims in imparting technical knowledge to update their skills necessary to bridge the gap between institute and industrial requirements. In addition to this more concerned in developing soft skills in addition to regular academic work. Strength of the department lies with highly qualified, dedicated and motivating staff to impart knowledge and inculcate discipline, punctuality and regularity.

The department has a Professor, two Associate Professors and eleven Assistant Professors with required qualifications and rich experince. Department is well equipped with required number of systems with latest configuration and supporting facilities such as internet etc.

Department Goals:

To impart qualitative and ethical education.
To bridge gap between institute and industrial requirements.
To impart latest skills for industry requirements.
To provide inplant training to the students
Make students best in paper presentation and other talents.

Short term Goals:

To Conduct two day Workshop and National level paper presentation.
To provide inplant training.
To provide facilities to do miniprojects and main projects in advanced areas
To conduct guest lecturers at frequent intervels.
To stat departmental association and conduct seminars, symposisms etc.
To start alumi association and interact with them.
Feed Back:
HOD monitors the performance of staff through student feedback and conducting class representative meeting at regular intervals. Students attendance and progress will be monitored regularly and will be intimated to their parents at regular intervals

Motivational Initiatives:

HOD will constantly counsel the faculty on
Performance appraisals and encourage for better.
Motivate them to work towards achieving the short term and long term goals.
Encourages faculty by recommending them for incentives.
The IT department is the first to release a magazine, VOXPOPuli, The students voice in the year 2004.
